Summer Camps at Claren
Claren Academy will be offering public Summer Camps in 2025
Our summer camps embody Claren Academy's core values of kindness, belonging, curiosity, responsibility, and excellence through a carefully crafted blend of creative arts, exploration, and play. Children ages 5-9 will engage in visual arts, music, drama, sports, and outdoor adventures that foster the same future-focused learning that defines our school.
Our exceptional staff guide campers to become curious learners, all while having fun at special destinations like the BC Sports Hall of Fame and Science World.
Camps will run from 9am-4pm and always have at least one Claren Academy educator as a leader. Camps will run from Claren Academy's Yaletown Campus, 201-1085 Homer St, Vancouver, BC and use the local public parks for outdoor activities.
All campers must have completed kindergarten and be born between 2016 and 2019. Please note that all camps will have a ratio of no more than 8 kids to 1 adult. Campers must be capable of communicating in English, following instructions, using all equipment or supplies safely, and walking to and from public parks safely. In the interest of safety, Claren Academy reserves the right to inform parents immediately if our camp is not the right fit for your child, or if they cannot safely participate in the camp’s activities. In that case we will refund the camp’s costs for the remainder of the week.

Create and Play Summer Camp combines hands-on creative activities with playful exploration, guided by our exceptional Claren Academy staff. Through visual arts, music, drama, sports, and outdoor adventures, campers will engage in meaningful learning experiences that spark curiosity and foster independence. This camp will include a trip to the BC Sports Hall of Fame.

This summer, Claren Academy invites young performers to unleash their creativity in our immersive Theater Camp! Designed for children who love to express themselves through performance, this camp provides a supportive environment where students can develop confidence, collaboration skills, and artistic abilities under expert guidance of our Arts and Drama specialist, Delaney Lathigee.

Led by our exceptional primary educator Ms. Jan, this camp embodies Claren's values of curiosity, kindness, and creativity.
Art and Play Summer Camp offers young artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of visual arts experiences while enjoying playful exploration. Campers will discover their creative potential while developing technical skills and artistic confidence.

Led by our enthusiastic educator Ms. Rimell, this camp embraces Claren's values of excellence, responsibility, and belonging while helping children develop a lifelong love of movement and outdoor activity.
Our Summer Sports Camp offers a comprehensive athletic experience where campers will explore a variety of sports and physical activities while developing fundamental movement skills, teamwork, and healthy habits. From traditional team sports to outdoor adventures, each day provides opportunities for children to challenge themselves, build confidence, and experience the joy of active living.

This dynamic week combines the best of hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, and a full-day field trip to Science World, all led by primary educator Ms. Rimell. This camp embodies Claren's values of curiosity, excellence, and belonging while creating unforgettable summer memories.
Claren Fun Camp offers a perfect balance of educational activities, creative exploration, and active play. Centered around scientific discovery and culminating in our Science World field trip, campers will engage in experiments, outdoor adventures, and collaborative challenges that spark curiosity and build knowledge.
