My daughter is fortunate enough to be a part of the inaugural intake of Claren Academy’s Kindergarten class. I feel compelled to write a little note, because I can’t say enough good things about the teachers, administration and facility. Growing up, my wife and I were enrolled in suburban public school. We are the traditionalist K to 7, desks in a row, big box structure. Prior to our first visit, we had questions: how does this work in an open concept setting like this? Where’s the playground? Where’s the desks with attached chairs? As soon as we walked through and met the team we were impressed. The professionalism, patience, passion and commitment to the kids and education is humbling. Their sterling resumes are not just pieces of paper. This group is amazing. My wife and I wish we could have had this kind of opportunity growing up. I can’t believe how much my daughter has grown as a person, intellectually and as a self-sufficient young lady since she started. The children are exposed to so many things in addition to the BC Curriculum such as 3D printing, programming, field trips, yoga, karate, and gymnastics. The balance between play and learning, coupled with the teacher to student ratio has my daughter excelling in reading and math to a level years beyond Kindergarten. She truly loves it here and is sad on the weekends that she doesn’t get to go to school. Claren is worth every penny and I hope you will invest in your child’s education and future.
